This 20"w X 16"h oil on canvas, Three Plovers Piping, depicts the once endangered Piping Plovers that used to darken the skies over Duxbury Beach by the thousands.  Luckily conservation endeavors to save them have been successful since the mid-1980s and they are once again becoming a common sight on the sand beaches, grasses and the marshes of New England coastal towns.
